Elizabethtown hospital offers scholarships
Elizabethtown Community Hospital and the Hospital Auxiliary have announced the availability of two scholarships available to those pursuing a career in the healthcare field.
The Holly Estus Memorial Scholarship for Nursing was created in memory of a dedicated nurse who worked at Elizabethtown Community Hospital. This year, the fund will award a scholarship of $500 to a student enrolled in a nursing program.
Applicants must reside in the districts of Elizabethtown, Keene, Moriah, Westport or Willsboro in order to be eligible.
The Elizabethtown Community Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Fund was created last year to benefit those furthering their career in the healthcare field. Applicants must be either an employee of ECH, a child or parent of an ECH employee, an ECH volunteer or an employee at Horace Nye Home or the Keene Valley Neighborhood House. This year, one scholarship of $500 will be awarded.
